It offers a suite of safety technologies designed to alert you to potential hazards and help you avoid collisions—or lessen their impact. Standard features include Advanced Smart City Brake Support with Day and Night-time Pedestrian Detection.
Blind Spot Monitoring detects objects in your blind spots and alerts you with a chime and warning light in the side mirror and Active Driving Display (when equipped). It also warns you of fast-approaching vehicles that may enter a blind spot from behind.
Day and nighttime smart city brake support Pedestrian detection assists you in spotting vehicles and pedestrians that are in your route. The technology will alert the driver and, if necessary, activate the brakes if an impact is anticipated.
When backing up, Rear Cross Traffic Alert helps detect a vehicle approaching from the side and promptly alerts the driver with an audible warning, as well as a visual warning, in either side mirror and the rear view monitor display
Mazda Radar Cruise Control with Stop & Go lets you maintain a set speed and minimum following distance from the traffic ahead. If the vehicle you're following reduces speed, even down to a stop, your vehicle is able to slow or stop as needed.
This available system is designed to help you see around corners at night. As you turn a corner, the headlights pivot in the direction of your turn, improving visibility and allow you to spot potential hazards ahead. For added safety, automatic on/off LED Headlights with auto height control is standard on all trims.
Mazda's automatic braking technology includes standard high and low speed systems (shown) and an available system that works while in reverse. "If an impact is predicted, these systems will warn the driver and, if necessary, apply the brakes.
When traveling at speeds of 37 mph or higher, the Lane Departure Warning System gives you a combination of audible and visual warnings when it detects that you are about to unintentionally depart from your lane. And with Lane-keep Assist', minor steering corrections are made to help keep your vehicle in its lane.
Enjoy a totally integrated driving experience. Together, Mazda's G-Vectoring Control Plus and i-Activ AWD actively adapt to shifting road conditions. The technology is intended to produce a more energising drive when coupled with the responsive Skyactiv-G 2.5 Turbo engine.
For a smoother ride, Mazda i-Activ AWD helps modify and provide the proper power to each wheel based on the continually monitored road conditions. Off-road Traction Assist optimises torque distribution and traction control when driving over rough terrain, giving each drive more assurance.

You can access directions, music, contacts, and compatible apps on the larger 10.25-inch full-color display or by speaking to Siri on the iPhone (pictured) thanks to the Apple CarPlay connection.
